No artiste in my class has ever filled the Accra Sports Stadium like I did: Stonebwoy declared.

Dancehall isn’t just a genre; for some, it’s a lifeline. But not everyone seems to agree. Recently, Stonebwoy, Ghana’s celebrated Dancehall and Reggae maestro, decided it was time to silence the noise. After Gomski, an artist manager, labeled dancehall as “one of the biggest problems in Ghana,” Stonebwoy clapped back.

Appearing on 3Music TV, he laid down the facts by reflecting on his 2023 BHIM Festival, he proudly highlighted the jaw-dropping 55,000 fans who thronged the Accra Sports Stadium, surpassing its 40,000 capacity. And here’s the kicker: the entire event was self-funded. Not a single sponsor in sight, just pure love for the music and the craft.

No artiste in my class has ever filled the Accra Sports Stadium like I did,” he declared, unapologetically proud of his record-breaking feat. According to Stonebwoy, this isn’t about empty bragging – it’s about setting the record straight. “Some of us don’t like to talk,” he said, his tone both calm and cutting. “But it’s important to set the record straight. We’ve left the stage for others to act like they’re leading the industry, but the facts speak for themselves.

The BHIM Festival wasn’t just a concert; it was a cultural statement. Featuring top-tier talent from Ghana and the Caribbean, the event was a testament to Stonebwoy’s influence, grit, and the love his fans have for him.

If you have a niche and fans who adore you, stick to it like your favorite jollof recipe – ignore the naysayers who think it’s “too spicy.” Dancehall isn’t Ghana’s problem; it’s one of its greatest strengths.
